The perfect summertime afternoon drink. The Cafe L’Orange perfectly combines the orange and coffee flavours of the LOS CAFETEROS and Cointreau, with the citrus aromatic flavours of the Cognac.
What you’ll need…
- 25ml Cognac
- 25ml Cointreau
- 50ml LOS CAFETEROS coffee liqueur
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- Wheel of orange to garnish
Glassware – Ideally a highball (tall) glass.
How you build it…
- Fill a tall glass with ice and build the ingredients directly in the glass. Crushed ice is best because it helps with dilution.
- Start with the Cognac and then the Cointreau. Then add the LOS CAFETEROS coffee liqueur. Because the LOS CAFETEROS is darker, it tends to cascades down through the ice and looks fantastic!
- Next, add two dashes of orange bitters and give it a gentle stir.
- Add a wheel of orange to garnish (and perhaps a wedge of orange in the glass) and finish with a paper straw.
