We are a set of four discretely separate cottages set in 16 acres of land – with hammocks, campfire and games barn – at the foothills of the stunning Black Mountains. We can accommodate from 1-24 people across our four bespoke properties, all of which are dog-friendly and family friendly too. You can have access to a pottery/craft studio during your stay at The Potting Shed (sleeps 2). Calves’ Cot is ideal for romantic couples weekend getaways (sleeps 2 in a four poster bed). Riverview Cottage overlooks the river Monnow and is ideal for up to six people sleeping in three bedrooms. Our largest property, Stonehouse Court, can accommodate up to 14 people in 5 en-suite bedrooms.

Fancy something different? We are a treetop Safari tent glamping site right on the riverbank of the River Wye in Hay. We have six self catering, luxury, fully equipped and ensuite Safari tents in the trees, ready and waiting just for you, so give us a call!

The Old Bake House is a cosy, quirky, characterful gem of a cottage, tucked away with private, beautiful and generous gardens. Designed to accommodate 2 guests in one large, light bedroom – either as a SuperKing sized bed or two 3ft singles – the cottage is surprisingly spacious and well-equipped with electric double oven and hob, microwave, washer drier, dishwasher, undercounter fridge and separate undercounter freezer. The sunroom overlooks the gardens and is a perfect space for watching the wildlife, or reading, or just allowing yourself to relax. The living room features a woodburning stove, a 42 inch Smart TV and a generous sofa with chaise longue.

River Cottage is a gorgeous barn conversion in a peaceful rural spot in Craswall, sleeping 4 guests in a double ensuite bedroom, twin bedroom plus 2 more on a double sofa bed in the open plan living area. Stylish and contemporary, the cottage retains character features such as a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams and a natural stone wall in the living area. The kitchen is fully equipped with double electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washer drier, microwave and undercounter fridge with ice compartment. The living area also boasts a 42 inch Smart TV, woodburning stove and French doors opening onto a patio with built in BBQ. Outside is a second patio area with picnic bench, large lawn and private parking to the front of the property. Our mini play shepherd’s hut is a huge hit with children!

Nestled between the Golden Valley and the Black Mountains are the family run Ty Gwyn Cider and Ty Gwyn Holidays. There are three types of accommodation on offer, all with magnificent views and a short stumble to the cider bar!

The Cider Shack, as seen on TV has views of the Skirrid, Sugar Loaf and Black Mountains. Outside is a fire pit outdoor bath. The amenities block has a compost loo shower and kitchen. The Tiny House has a double mezzanine bed, seating and a wood burner.

Yarlington Dairy is a single story cottage with fully enclosed, garden and views across the Monnow Valley and Garway Hill. Wood fired hot tub, smart TV and Kingsize bed with a roll top bath in the bedroom.

The Cider Site is a Caravan and Motorhome Certified Location. Fantastic views, access to shower and WC

Built in 1901, Tegfan Garden Suite was formerly a Victorian greenhouse providing produce to the local residents. Now Tegfan offers you a secluded garden getaway and escape to the country. A self-catering garden suite in Talgarth in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Talgarth is a small traditional market town where the little rivers Enig and Ellywe flow from the Black Mountains.
Facing Mynydd Troed, Tegfan Garden Suite nestles peacefully in the foot hills of the Black Mountains, within the Talgarth Conservation Area and many walks from the door! Situated 1.5 miles from Bronllys Castle and just a short stroll to the beautiful Pwll-y-Wrach Nature Reserve.
