There have been many variations on the Café Royal. Most commonly known as a hot drink containing Coffee Liqueur, hot black coffee, with whipped cream on top as a garnish.
This is a more sophisticated take on the Café Royale cocktail, inspired by the Kir Royale Cocktail.
- 40ml LOS CAFETEROS
- 20ml Sweet Vermouth
- 10ml Extra Dry Vermouth
- 1 dash Orange Bitters
- 25ml Prosecco to top up
- Combine the LOS CAFETEROS coffee liqueur, Sweet Vermouth, Extra Dry Vermouth and Orange Bitters in a mixing glass packed with ice and stir the ingredients together.
- Strain into a chilled champagne glass, leaving around 1 cm space at the top for the Prosecco.
- Top up with the Prosecco
